I began ski jumping at the age of 5 at the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove, Illinois just a 5 min. drive from my house in Cary, Illinois. Ever since I can remember I have been in love with ski jumping and couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life at this point in my young life. When I was younger I played a lot of sports like soccer and baseball on top of ski jumping. There came a point when I had to make a decision on what sport I wanted to pursue....and as you probably guessed I chose ski jumping. The thrill that I get not only from flying through the air, but competing against others and knowing that the hard work I put into training has payed off is what drives me to be the best. "Never be outworked", this is something that I live by and has motivated me to put an extreme amount of effort into doing the best that I can possibly do.
